Seabourne Solutions in Northampton has successfully completed a high volume back-to-college  contract packing job for a leading supplier of notebooks and pads to the office, school and fine art markets. The job involved packing multiple items into an outer carton and shrink wrapping, prior to onward shipping to Tesco’s DC. We took delivery of thousands of individual stationery items and then made up the orders within the agreed timeframe.

THE CLIENT CHALLENGE
Operating in-house packaging and warehousing to prepare and ship large college bundles can be a challenge in terms of planning and staffing during the summer period. The client needed a partner that could be involved in the process from concept to completion and provide a flexible and personal service.

Seabourne had the cartons manufactured to the client’s specification; the various specified items were packed into the branded cartons, wrapped and sent on to Tesco’s DC within the agreed timeframe.
